Mr. Pollastro joined Wolverine Fuels, LLC in October 2019 from Utah American Energy, Inc. where he served as President. Mr. Pollastro previously held various senior roles within the Foresight Energy and Murray Energy organizations, including as General Manager of the Mach Mine, General Manager of the New Future and New Era Mines, and Vice President of The American Coal Company. Mr. Pollastro holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and a M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Mr. Maglione joined Wolverine Fuels, LLC in September 2018 from Rio Tinto where he most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Richards Bay Minerals in South Africa. Mr. Maglione brings international operating and commercial leadership experience in addition to financial discipline demonstrated across diverse mining operations and projects, including coal with Rio Tinto and smaller public companies in the US and abroad. Mr. Maglione holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, as well as professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia.
Mr. Settles joined Wolverine Fuels, LLC in August, 2013 and serves as Chief Administrative Officer, Secretary & General Counsel. Prior to joining Wolverine Fuels, LLC, Mr. Settles practiced law with Fultz Maddox Hovious & Dickens, PLC, Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC and Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and natural resources law. Mr. Settles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Miami University, magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, summa cum laude.
Mr. Atwood was appointed as Vice President of Commercial Operations in July 2018. Mr. Atwood is a third generation miner with roots in the Uinta Basin and has worked in the natural resources industry for nearly 15 years, including experience in coal, natural gas, copper, gold, silver and molybdenum operations. Prior to joining Wolverine Fuels, LLC in July 2014, Mr. Atwood worked for Rio Tinto in Salt Lake City and Consol Energy in Pittsburgh in maintenance planning, procurement, strategy, operations management and business development roles. Mr. Atwood holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University and an MBA from Waynesburg University.
